This site provides free land-area conversion tools and reference material. You may use it for personal, educational and commercial purposes without charge and without registering.

You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or present it as your own product.

Accuracy and limitations

We take accuracy seriously. Conversions use the exact legal definitions of the hectare and the international acre, and results are calculated at full precision and rounded only for display. The methodology is documented in full on the About page.

That said, this is a reference tool, not a substitute for professional advice. For land registration, legal conveyancing, formal surveying, or any transaction where an area figure is legally binding, rely on a qualified surveyor or the official record rather than on this calculator.

We provide the site as-is and make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on figures produced by this tool.

Content and intellectual property

The text, design, code and illustrations on this site belong to us. You are welcome to quote short passages or cite a conversion figure with attribution and a link — that is what the site is for.

Republishing whole articles, or reproducing the site's design or code as a competing product, is not permitted without written permission.

The conversion factors themselves are facts about international standards and belong to no one.
